Alpine Wildflower Honey / Marco Chiri / Italy

High mountain wildflower honey is produced at high altitude, far from possible sources of pollution, in periods in which there is a multitude of floral species, which bees visit, to collect their precious nectar. With a more or less delicate aroma, depending on its composition, the high mountain wildflower crystallizes rather quickly and its color is more or less light.

The two varieties of mountain wildflowers from the farm. Marco Chiri obtained the 2nd and 3rd PRIZE (Special Honeys category) at the VI edition of the “FERRERE MIELE” Regional Competition in 2013.
